Sleep therapy may unlock PTSD care for women veterans

NCT ID NCT05683132

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a special type of sleep therapy, adapted for trauma, can help women veterans with both insomnia and PTSD feel more ready to engage in PTSD treatment. About 100 women veterans will be randomly assigned to either the sleep therapy or a general education program. The goal is to see if improving sleep makes them more likely to seek and stick with PTSD care.
