Summary

This early study tests whether a drug called psilocybin (found in magic mushrooms) given alongside talk therapy can safely ease symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Fourteen adults with IBS will receive two doses and be followed for up to a year. The goal is to reduce belly pain and improve bowel habits.
