Summary
This study looks at whether psilocybin, the active ingredient in magic mushrooms, can help people who have both major depression and alcohol use disorder. About 90 adults will receive psilocybin in a controlled setting to see if it reduces depressive symptoms and heavy drinking. The goal is to improve mood and cut down on alcohol use.
