NCT ID NCT07348354
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether adding pure platelet-rich plasma (P-PRP) to sperm samples can improve sperm movement (motility) in a lab. Researchers will first standardize how to make P-PRP, then compare sperm quality after 24 hours with and without P-PRP. The trial involves 248 participants and is led by the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a new lab technique to improve sperm quality for couples struggling with infertility.
