First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether injecting a patient's own concentrated platelets (PRP) after balloon dilation can prevent the colon from narrowing again in people with Crohn's disease. About 74 adults with a short colon stricture will receive either a high or low concentration of PRP. The main goal is to see how many people avoid restenosis and need for surgery.
