PRP treatment may boost IVF success by reshaping uterine immune cells
NCT ID NCT07535190
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether giving platelet-rich plasma (PRP) inside the uterus can improve the immune environment and thickness of the lining in women undergoing IVF. Researchers will take biopsies before and after PRP to measure changes in immune cells. The goal is to see if PRP can make the uterus more receptive to embryo transfer.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
platelet-rich plasma (PRP)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a simple way to improve IVF success by making the uterine lining more receptive to embryo implantation.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-phase study with only 50 participants. It focuses on immune cell changes and lining thickness, not directly on pregnancy rates, so benefits remain uncertain.
