First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at 27 women aged 45-70 with knee osteoarthritis. They received a single platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection into the knee, followed by a 6-week home exercise program focusing on hip and leg strength. Researchers measured pain and muscle strength at the start, at 6 weeks, and at 12 weeks to see if the combination helped improve symptoms.
