Immune activator 2141-V11 shows promise in prostate cancer trial

Summary
This study tests a new drug called 2141-V11 that helps the immune system find and kill prostate cancer cells. It is given as an injection directly into the tumor, either alone or with standard hormone therapy. The goal is to see if this approach can completely eliminate cancer or leave only tiny traces. About 57 men with intermediate- to high-risk prostate cancer will take part.
