First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study compares two radiation schedules for prostate cancer that has returned after prostate removal. One group gets 20 treatments over 4 weeks, the other gets 5 treatments over 2 weeks. The main goal is to see if the shorter course causes similar or fewer bowel and urinary side effects. 134 men are taking part, and researchers will track side effects, cancer control, and quality of life for up to 5 years.
