New radiation approach aims to tame High-Risk prostate cancer

Summary

This study is testing a new way to give radiation for high-risk prostate cancer that has not spread. One hundred men will receive a shorter, stronger radiation boost to the prostate along with standard pelvic radiation. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and does not cause more side effects than usual. Men in the study will also receive hormone therapy as decided by their doctor.
