Summary
This pilot study tests a new high-resolution PET-CT scan done during prostate cancer surgery to see if it can better detect cancer cells left behind or spread to lymph nodes. Ten men with high-risk prostate cancer will receive a special tracer injection before surgery, then get scanned while on the operating table. The goal is to see if this approach can guide surgeons more accurately than current methods.
