New program aims to keep women in opioid treatment longer

Summary

This study tests a new stepped care program called PCT+2HOPE for women with opioid use disorder who have also experienced intimate partner violence and have PTSD symptoms. The program adds counseling and extra support to standard medication treatment to help women stay in treatment longer. About 532 women will take part, and researchers will compare the program to usual care.
