Could a simple questionnaire transform diabetes consultations?

NCT ID NCT07767331

First seen Aug 17, 2026 · Last updated Aug 17, 2026

Summary

This trial tests whether using a diabetes-specific questionnaire during annual check-ups can improve the quality of care for people with type 2 diabetes. About 2,000 adults with type 2 diabetes from 30 general practices in Denmark will take part. Half of the practices will use the questionnaire to guide consultations, while the other half will follow usual care. The study will measure patient-perceived quality of care and explore how the questionnaire affects the consultation experience.
