First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding probiotic supplements to the standard antibiotic (rifaximin) could better control SIBO symptoms like bloating and constipation. 129 adults with SIBO took either probiotics or a placebo alongside their antibiotic for 14 days.
