Summary
This study tested whether adding probiotic supplements to the standard antibiotic (rifaximin) could better control SIBO symptoms like bloating and constipation. 129 adults with SIBO took either probiotics or a placebo alongside their antibiotic for 14 days. The goal was to see if the combination improved symptom relief and breath test results more than antibiotics alone.
