Summary

This study tests whether taking probiotics alongside standard treatment can improve immune markers and recovery in people with hip or knee joint infections. About 152 adults aged 18-90 who are scheduled for surgery and antibiotics will be enrolled. Researchers will measure inflammation levels, complications, and patient-reported outcomes to see if probiotics offer added benefits.
