Virtual support may shield latina moms from postpartum depression

Summary
This study tests whether a virtual group program called Mothers and Babies can prevent postpartum depression in immigrant Latinas who are at risk. About 300 pregnant women and new mothers will either join the program via Zoom or receive usual support services. Researchers will track mood, parenting confidence, and depression episodes for six months after the program ends.
