Summary

This study tested a procedure called Periodontally Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics (PAOO) in 20 adults getting braces. The goal was to see if it could prevent bone loss and gum recession on the front of the lower teeth. The procedure combines a small cut in the gum with a bone graft to support the teeth during movement.
