Summary
This study tested a surgical technique called PAOO to prevent bone loss and gum recession in people getting braces. 20 adults with crowded teeth and thin jawbones took part. The procedure involves a small cut in the gum and adding bone graft material before braces are placed. The goal was to see if it could protect the bone and speed up tooth movement.
