New nerve block aims to ease pain after hysterectomy

Summary

This study tests whether a nerve block given during laparoscopic hysterectomy can reduce pain after surgery. Sixty women will be randomly assigned to receive either the nerve block or a placebo. The main goal is to see if pain scores are lower three hours after the procedure.
