New nerve block aims to cut Post-Surgery pain in hysterectomy patients

Summary

This study tests whether a presacral nerve block can reduce pain after total laparoscopic hysterectomy. Sixty women will be randomly assigned to receive either the nerve block with a numbing medicine or a placebo (salt water). The main goal is to measure pain levels 3 hours after surgery using a simple 0-10 pain scale.
