Computer aims to predict brain crises before they cause lasting damage

NCT ID NCT06966713

Summary

This study is testing a computer system designed to predict dangerous pressure and oxygen changes in the brain of patients with severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) before they happen. About 120 patients will have their brain monitor data collected to see if the system's predictions are accurate. The goal is to gather knowledge so that in the future, doctors could use these warnings to act early and prevent permanent brain damage.
