Personalized navigation may boost cancer screening in high-risk communities
NCT ID NCT07676383
First seen Jun 30, 2026 · Last updated Jul 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether giving people a personalized report about their cancer risk and screening options helps them complete recommended cancer tests. Adults aged 45 to 74 who are at high risk for lung, breast, colorectal, upper gastrointestinal, or liver cancer are invited to take part. Some receive a tailored navigation report with step-by-step guidance, while others get general health education or no active promotion. The goal is to see if personalized support increases screening participation and improves early detection.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance

What this could lead to
If effective, this approach could increase cancer screening rates in high-risk communities, leading to earlier detection and better outcomes.
