NCT ID NCT06120881

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares the usual dose of metformin (1000 mg twice a day) with a higher dose (1350 mg twice a day) in 20 youth aged 10-21 with type 2 diabetes. The goal is to see if the higher dose is acceptable and feasible, and whether it improves blood sugar control. Participants will wear a continuous glucose monitor for 6 weeks to track their glucose levels.
