First seen Jan 21, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether eating prebiotic-rich foods can improve how well immunotherapy works in people with advanced melanoma that cannot be removed by surgery. About 75 adults starting standard immunotherapy will follow a special diet for several weeks. Researchers will check if the diet increases helpful gut bacteria and possibly boosts treatment response.
