First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a salt substitute with less sodium and more potassium can help kidney transplant recipients lower their blood pressure. About 80 participants will use either the special salt or regular salt for 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if the salt substitute safely improves blood pressure without causing dangerously high potassium levels.
