NCT ID NCT04298034

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving blood pressure medication to women who had preeclampsia during pregnancy can reduce their risk of being readmitted to the hospital after giving birth. About 300 women will be randomly assigned to receive either the medication or standard care. The goal is to see if treatment leads to fewer severe high blood pressure readings and less need for extra doctor visits or emergency care.
