Could a daily postbiotic pill tame exercise inflammation and soothe your gut?

NCT ID NCT07387991

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a multi-strain postbiotic supplement taken daily for 28 days can reduce inflammation, improve gut symptoms, and aid recovery after exercise in healthy adults. About 50 physically active men and women aged 18 to 55 will be randomly assigned to receive either the supplement or a placebo. After four weeks, they will run on a treadmill, and researchers will measure blood markers of inflammation and immune function, as well as gut symptoms, anxiety, and perceived recovery.
