Summary
This study aims to see if adding a non-addictive pain medication (toradol) to standard opioid painkillers can better manage pain and reduce overall opioid use after a specific leg surgery. It involves 60 adult patients with bone cancer who are having a rod placed in their thigh bone to prevent future breaks. The goal is to find safer, effective pain control methods that could help address the national opioid epidemic.
