Happiness training may boost brain health in early dementia
NCT ID NCT07289061
First seen Dec 29, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether a 24-week online positive psychology program can improve memory, thinking, and well-being in older adults with very early signs of dementia. About 128 people with subjective cognitive decline or mild cognitive impairment will join. Half take the program (weekly group sessions plus home exercises), half get usual care. No drugs are used, and risks are minimal. If it works, this low-cost approach could help people stay sharper longer.
