NCT ID NCT07612033
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether changing body position and doing special breathing exercises can help prevent lung issues like pneumonia after heart surgery. About 124 adults having planned heart surgery will be split into four groups: one getting usual care, one doing only breathing exercises, one using only positioning, and one doing both. The goal is to see which approach works best to keep lungs healthy and shorten hospital stays.
