Ultrasound could reveal hidden lung changes after surgery

NCT ID NCT04677309

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study uses lung ultrasound to measure how the lungs change after surgery to remove part of a lung due to cancer. Researchers will check lung aeration before surgery, right after, and 24 hours later in about 32 adults. They aim to see if ultrasound findings relate to oxygen levels and other health markers.
