Summary
This trial tests whether a gel made from pomegranate peel extract, placed directly into deep gum pockets after a standard deep cleaning, can improve healing in people with moderate to advanced gum disease (periodontitis). Thirty-two adults will receive the gel on one side of the mouth and a placebo gel on the other, with gum measurements and inflammatory markers tracked over six months.
