Summary

This study tests whether using a simple bedside ultrasound to measure fluid levels can help doctors give the right amount of medication to heart failure patients. The goal is to reduce hospital readmissions within 30 days and prevent kidney damage. About 588 adults hospitalized with severe heart failure will take part, with half receiving ultrasound-guided care and half receiving standard care.
