Summary
This study tested whether adding a mild electrical stimulation to a specific stretching technique (PNF) could improve hamstring flexibility and jumping ability in young football players aged 10 to 18. Forty-seven active players were split into two groups: one received real electrical stimulation during stretching, the other a placebo. The goal was to see if the combo could help prevent common hamstring injuries. Results may show a simple way to enhance flexibility in young athletes.
