First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether doing active hamstring stretches for 10 minutes a day, five days a week for six weeks, could reduce muscle tension in the lower back of office workers. Fifty-two desk workers who sat at least 5 hours daily participated. Researchers measured muscle activity and flexibility before and after the program.
