First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study is following 5,000 middle-aged and older adults in Taiwan who are Tzu Chi volunteers and eat plant-based or vegetarian diets. Researchers want to see if these diets are linked to healthier aging, including better memory, stronger muscles, and lower risk of frailty. Participants will have their thinking skills, muscle mass, and grip strength measured over time.
