New burn surgery approach aims to reduce bleeding without side effects

Summary
This study tests whether a drug called phenylephrine can control bleeding during burn surgery as well as the standard drug epinephrine, but without causing unwanted changes in heart rate or blood pressure. About 24 adults with burns needing skin grafts will take part. The goal is to find a safer option for reducing blood loss during these procedures.
