First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether extra help from a pharmacist can improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar is very high (HbA1C of 10% or more). About 60 people will work closely with a pharmacist or pharmacy intern for 10 months, getting education and medication advice. The main goal is to see if their average blood sugar level drops, and also to check if they feel more confident managing their diabetes.
