Smart scans guide radiation to zap stubborn cancer spots
NCT ID NCT05830058
Summary
This study is testing a more precise way to deliver radiation therapy to people whose lung cancer, melanoma, or kidney cancer has spread to a few new spots. It uses PET scans to guide the radiation beams to the most active parts of the tumors. The goal is to see if this targeted approach can better control the cancer's growth compared to standard radiation, while still being safe.
