Summary
This early-stage trial tested a personalized DNA vaccine designed to train the immune system to attack glioblastoma, a fast-growing brain cancer. Nine patients with a specific type of glioblastoma (unmethylated MGMT) received the vaccine along with an immune booster. The main goals were to see if the vaccine was safe, could be made quickly enough, and triggered an immune response. Results are still being analyzed.
