New blood test aims to track stomach and colon cancer spread

Summary
This study is creating a personalized blood test for people with gastrointestinal cancers that have spread to the lining of the abdomen. Researchers collect tumor tissue and blood samples to design a test that detects cancer DNA in the blood. The goal is to see if this test can help monitor cancer over time and guide treatment decisions. About 30 participants will be enrolled.
