NCT ID NCT07313501

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at whether two checklists (PERC and YEARS) can help doctors decide who really needs a CT scan for a blood clot in the lungs. Researchers will review records of 500 adults from one hospital's ER to see how many scans could have been avoided. The goal is to make diagnosis faster and safer by reducing unnecessary radiation and waiting time.
