Summary

This study investigates whether low-frequency pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy can improve vibration perception and protective sensation in people with diabetic foot ulcers. Forty-two participants with type 2 diabetes and Wagner grade 1 ulcers will receive either real PEMF plus ankle exercises or a sham treatment plus exercises for six weeks. The goal is to see if this non-invasive therapy can help restore feeling and reduce the risk of further foot damage.
