First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 40 times

Summary

This study tests whether having a partner to exercise with helps inactive women become more physically active. Researchers will enroll 500 women aged 18-65 who are not currently active enough. Participants will either receive a standard individual program or a partner-based program that emphasizes social support. The goal is to see if the buddy approach leads to more minutes of moderate exercise per week.
