First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at whether programs focused on parents or the whole family can help reduce obesity risk in African American families. Since obesity often runs in families, these programs aim to lower the chance of obesity-related cancers. About 120 parent-child pairs will take part, and researchers will check how well the programs work and if families find them acceptable.
