No more math mistakes: new ambulance protocol aims to stop Kids' seizures faster

Summary
This study tests a simpler way for paramedics to give seizure medicine to children. Instead of calculating a dose based on weight, paramedics will use the child's age to pick one of four pre-set doses and give it as a shot or nasal spray. The goal is to see if this stops seizures before the child reaches the hospital, while being just as safe as the current method. About 6,700 children will take part across 20 cities.
