First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether releasing a small chest muscle (pectoralis minor) during reverse shoulder replacement helps reduce pain and improve arm movement. About 90 adults getting this surgery will be randomly assigned to have the muscle released or not. Researchers will compare pain scores and how well the shoulder works after surgery.
