First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests a device called PCSS used during neck fusion surgery for people with degenerative disc disease at three levels in the neck. About 236 adults aged 18-80 who have not improved with non-surgical treatments will be enrolled. The goal is to see if adding this device helps bones fuse better and is safe compared to standard surgery alone.
