New disc injection could ease back pain without surgery

Summary
This study tests a one-time injection called VIA Disc NP for people with long-term low-back pain from worn-out spinal discs. About 121 adults who haven't improved with standard care will get either the real injection or a sham procedure. The goal is to see if it safely reduces pain and improves function over 6 months.
