NCT ID NCT07006376
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at 80 people (ages 55-80) to see how Parkinson's disease changes the thickness of a back tissue called the thoracolumbar fascia, along with trunk flexibility and hand dexterity. Researchers compared Parkinson's patients to healthy volunteers using ultrasound, movement tests, and a pegboard task. The goal was to better understand physical changes in Parkinson's, not to test a treatment.
