Summary

This study tests a 4-week training program for assisted living staff (nurses, administrators, and dementia care coordinators) to improve palliative care for residents with dementia. The goal is to increase advance care planning discussions and documentation, and to reduce caregiver burden. About 792 participants from communities with at least 40 beds and memory care services will take part.
