Summary

This study tested if adding magnesium sulfate or dexmedetomidine to a standard numbing drug (bupivacaine) improves pain control after laparoscopic gallbladder removal. 63 adults undergoing elective surgery received one of three combinations via a nerve block. The goal was to find which mix provides better pain relief in the first 24 hours after surgery.
